Pets First began as two growing pet care brands in Bangalore. One is Pet Warehouse, a chain of affordable pet retail stores offering grooming services, and Pets First, a busy veterinary care network.
With increasing growth and demand in their neighbourhoods, the founders expanded across multiple stores, where managing operations became increasingly complex.
Appointments were written in registers. Grooming services were added manually into billing software. Veterinary clinics used hospital systems designed for human healthcare. While inventory and billing were tracked, pet records, customer insights, and service history were not being captured.
